Bravo Anheuser-Busch

I was deeply touched by the 3rd Quarter SuperBowl commercial sponsored by Anheuser-Busch.

The commercial is called "Hero's Salute", and takes place at a nondescript airport terminal. Everyone in the terminal is typically just trying to get through the mundane process of waiting, when one young woman stands and beings clapping. Others start to join her in a growing level of applause and slowly the camera pans to the focus of their attention. A group of very authentic looking solders begins walking through the Arrivals terminal in desert fatigues, dittybags on their shoulders, in loose double column formation, slowly beginning to smile and blush as they make their way through the terminal.



Not a word was spoken, the applause was enough.

Bravo Anheuser-Busch, bravo.
