Geoff took a photo during Kristen's High School graduation that really captivates me. This is an image that I suspect Kristen will dislike, but to me, it captures her essence. In this photo, you see Kristen as she was as a little girl, and as she will be far later in life. I think years from now, she will come to really appreciate this photo...
Trevor turns seven this year! To celebrate, we had some close friends of his over for a Pirates Treasure Hunt/Pool/Sleepover Party. It was a great success, starting off with the kids taking over the backyard 'fort', then having pizza and opening presents, then a twilight toss into the pool, followed by a nocturnal Treasure Hunt for hidden treasure. Then the young pirates pillaged and partied into the wee hours of the night.

This morning as I prepared to leave for work, my son woke up and staggered downstairs to say goodbye to me. I asked if he had any cool dreams last night. Here's his response:
"I dreamed that you took us to a water place, with rides and slides, and they had a big Lego store there and it was great!"
I need to call Raging Waters quick, I'm gonna make a fortune!
I am probably supposed to be working on a website. I must be avoiding something particularly mundane, or difficult, or both, like getting IE6 to work. If I'm writing here, I have excelled at avoiding my work....
